The Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Growers of Murça, C.R.L. (CAOM), founded in 1956, is located in a region with a high tradition in the production of olive oil, being part of the region with a Protected Designation of Origin with the designation “Azeite de Trás-os-Montes”. Throughout its history it has been a pioneer in various agricultural practices that have allowed the production of high quality oil, combining production techniques with processing technology, which have translated into excellent results in the quality of the oil obtained.
The Agricultural Cooperative of Olive Growers of Murça, CRL has sought to enhance the cultural wealth underlying the cultivation of olive trees and olive oil, having built a Museum Nucleus, so that the traditional techniques of extracting this precious liquid will last for generations to come. CAOM's mission was, and will be, to provide consumers with high quality olive oil, guided by the highest standards of olive selection, with the aim of maintaining olive oil as a 100% natural and healthy product.
